Streetwear Becomes Plasticwear
After Lego put their yellow touch on some of the most influential designers in the fashion industry for a collab with Harper’s BAZAAR, Malaysian artist and former music critic Adly Syairi Ramly put his own twist on things. Usually making minatures of bands, he decided this time to dress the iconic toys in iconic streetwear brands. Not only do I adore the concept (I’m still cognitively a 7 year old), I’m also pretty encapsualted by the fact that Ramly takes and edits all his Lego shots on his iPhone 5. Featuring Wood Wood, Supreme, BAPE and A.P.C amongst others, the images are brilliant and incredibly creative - have a look at a few below.
